Pericardial cyst were located in the right hemithorax in 8 (67%) patients and left hemithorax in 4 (33%) patients. The cysts were resected by thoracotomy in 4 (33%) patients and by video-assisted thoracic surgery in 8 (67%) patients. There was an excellent long-term follow-up with no morbidity or mortality.
