Özet
The objective of this study was to analyse the correlation between domestic pollutants, specifically organic matter, anionic detergent, and suspended solids, and environmental variables such as temperature, salinity, and sediment grain size in Çardak Lagoon on a seasonal basis. Samples were obtained using 5 L Nansen bottles at a depth of 1 m from the surface waters across 6 stations within the lagoon, as well as from 1 station situated on the seaward side. The collection period for the latter was from October 28, 2018, to June 28, 2019. The study demonstrated that the primary indicators of water pollution, namely NH+4 and anionic detergents, were consistently found at very low levels throughout the year in the study area. © 2025 The Author(s).
