dc.description.abstract | The S-transform is an extension of the continuous wavelet transform (CWT) and is based on a moving and scalable localizing Gaussian window. The interference fringes are analyzed for the determination of optical 3-D surface profile by using S-transform and continuous wavelet transform algorithms. It is seen that the S-transform gave a better 3-D profile than other method and showed a higher frequency resolution. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. | |
