Özet
Günümüzde küreselleşme ve rekabet yükseköğretim alanını da etkileyerek, yükseköğretimin küresel biretkinlik haline gelmesini sağlamıştır. Yükseköğretim kurumları kapılarını her gecen gün artan sayıdauluslararası öğrencilere açarak birbirleriyle yarışır hale gelmişlerdir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Çanakkale OnsekizMart Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören uluslararası öğrencilerin yaşadıkları ortama uyum sağlayıpsağlamadıklarının belirlemek ve sosyal uyum problemlerini incelemektir. Araştırmanın ana kütlesini, 2016-2017 akademik yılında Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören uluslararası öğrenciler,örneklemini ise kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 165 uluslararası öğrenci oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturan 165 uluslararası öğrencinin yaşadıkları uyum sorunların tespitine yönelikolarak veri toplama araçlarından anket kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, kategorik veri analizlerden biri olanlog-lineer modelleme kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Uluslararası öğrencilerin cinsiyetleri, geldikleri ülkeler veuyum sorunları için ayrı ayrı log-lineer modelleme yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları genel olarakincelendiğinde uluslararası öğrencilerin yaşadıkları başlıca sorunların ekonomik sorunlar ve eğitimsel sorunlarolduğu dikkat çekmektedir.
Today, globalization and competition have also influenced the field of higher education, ensuring that higher education becomes a global activity. Higher education institutions have been competing against each other by opening their doors to increasing number of international students every day. The aim of this research is to determine if international students who are studying at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University are in compliance with their living standards and to examine social adjustment problems.The study population consists of international students studying at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in 2016-2017 academic year and the sample is composed of 165 international students determined by convenience sampling method. A questionnaire was used to collect data for the determination of compliance problems experienced by 165 international students who constituted the sample of the research. The data obtained were analyzed using loglinear modeling, one of the categorical data analyzes. Loglinear modeling has been done separately for the countries where international students come from, their gender and identified adjustment problem. When the findings of the research are examined in general, it is noteworthy that the problems experienced by international students are the main problems of economic problems, educational problems.
