Özet
Several viruses are found on roses worldwide; among them, rose mosaic virus occurs by coinfection of prunus necrotic ringspot virus. Apple mosaic virus is the most important and worldwide disease of rose. Arabis mosaic virus, strawberry latent ringspot virus, and tomato ringspot virus (Nepovirus, Secoviridae) have a wide geographical distribution. Impatiens necrotic spot virus tomato spotted wilt virus and iris yellow spot virus are Orthotospovirus infections, and rose spring dwarf-associated virus is the unique Luteovirus infection and rose leaf curl virus infection is the unique Begomovirus infection detected on rose plants. Within this chapter, rose Begomoviruses, Ilarviruses, Nepoviruses, Tospoviruses, and Luteoviruses will be discussed by their symptomatology, yield loss, host range, mode of transmission, systematic position, particle morphology, purification, detection methods, and control strategies in details. © 2024 Elsevier Inc.
