dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted between January 2014 and December 2015 in Saros Bay. The spawning period was estimated by monthly analyses. the changes of the gonad somatic index (GSI) using the equation: GSI = (Gonad Weight / Total Weight - Gonad Weight) x 100. The weight - length relationship was calculated using the equation W = aL(b). It was observed that spawning period occurred between March and May. The weight-length relationship was calculated as W = 0.008511(3.11) for females. W = 0.0095TL(3.07) for males.
