dc.description.abstract18. yüzyıldan itibaren Türk sanatında görülmeye başlanan batı etkileri 19. yüzyılda da devam etmiştir. Söz konusu bu yüzyıllar bir yandan batı etkisinin gözlendiği, bir yandan da geleneksel sanat ve zevkin devam ettiği yüzyıllardır. Bu dönemde Osmanlı sosyal yaşamına batıdan bazı eşyalar girer. Bu eşyalar arasında pulat tepsiler de yer almaktadır. Kelime anlamı çelik olarak tanımlanan bu tepsilerin bilinen, yayınlanmış örnekleri sınırlı sayıdadır. Bunlardan biri de Çanakkale’de ikamet eden bir kişinin özel koleksiyonunda yer almaktadır. İlk kez tanıtılan bu tepsi İstanbul panoramasına sahiptir. Tepsi üzerinde Pera’dan Sarayburnu’na bakış resmedilmiştir. Metal kulplu ve oval bir şekle sahip olan tepsi çelik malzemelidir. Kenar kısmı zeminden yüksektir. Tepsinin eni 42,2 cm., boyu 53 cm. dir. Tepsinin üzerinde herhangi bir tarih veya imza yer almamaktadır. Çalışmada tepsimiz yayınlanmış diğer tepsi örnekleri ile mukayese edilmiş ayrıca manzara içerisinde yer alan yapılar fotoğraf, gravürler, duvar resmi ve tablolar eşliğinde incelenerek karşılaştırmalı şekilde değerlendirilmiştir. Bunların yanında tepside görülen süsleme özellikleri, yapım tekniği ve malzeme gibi konular açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.
dc.description.abstractStarting from the 18th century, Western influences began to emerge in Turkish art, continuing into the 19th century. These centuries represent a period when both Westernization effects and traditional art and taste persisted. During this era, certain Western items made their way into Ottoman social life, including trays made of pulat, which means steel. Known and published examples of these trays, literally defined as steel, are limited in number. One of these is in the private collection of a person residing in & Ccedil;anakkale.This tray, introduced for the first time, has a panorama of & Idot;stanbul. The tray depicts a view from Pera to Sarayburnu. The tray, made of steel material, is oval-shaped with metal handles and raised edges. Its width is 42.2 cm, and its length is 53 cm. There are no inscriptions or signatures present on the tray. In the study, our tray is compared with other published tray examples. Furthermore, the structures within the panorama are analyzed in comparison, accompanied by photographs, engravings, murals, and paintings. Decorative features seen on the tray, construction techniques, and material are also explored.
