dc.description.abstractRenk, tarih boyunca üzerine düşünülen bir olgu olmuştur. Kimi zaman bilim insanları kimi zaman ise sanatçılar renkler üzerinde çalışmalar gerçekleştirmişlerdir. Bu çalışmaların özünde renk olgusunun fiziksel, kimyasal ve psikolojik boyutlarıyla açıklanması amaçlanmıştır. Resim açısından bu durum incelendiğinde ise renklerin sanat tarihi boyunca zaman zaman derin anlamlar yüklenen zaman zamansa ise salt plastik bir öğe olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Nitekim Antik Yunan ve Mısır'dan Rönesans'a, Barok Dönemi'nden Postmodernizme resim için rengin önemli bir öğe olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Bu açıdan bakıldığında Johannes Itten de resim sanatı içerisinde önemli bir konuma sahiptir. Geliştirdiği renk teorisi kendinden sonraki birçok sanatçı için ilham kaynağı olmuştur. Bu kapsamda bu tez çalışmasında Johannes Itten'in renk üzerine düşüncelerinin diğer renk kuramcılarından daha ayrıntılı olarak psikolojik yönüyle de incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Ayrıca renkçi bir üslubu benimsemiş bir resim sanatı öğrencisi olarak bu tez doğrultusunda yapılan renk araştırmalarıyla sanatsal çalışmaların bir adım öteye taşınması hedeflenmiş ve bunun yanı sıra literatürdeki önemli bir eksikliğin giderilerek gelecek çalışmalara kaynak oluşturulması amaçlanmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractColor has been a phenomenon that has been considered throughout history. Sometimes scientists and sometimes artists have worked on colors. In the essence of these studies, it is aimed to explain the color phenomenon with its physical, chemical and psychological dimensions. When this situation is examined in terms of painting, it has been observed that colors are an element that has deep meanings throughout the history of art. As a matter of fact, it has been observed that color is an important element for painting from Ancient Greece and Egypt to the Renaissance, from the Baroque period to the Postmodern era. From this point of view, Johannes Itten also has an important position in the art of painting. The color theory has been developed by himself, became a source of inspiration for many artists after him. In this thesis, it is aimed to examine Johannes Itten's thoughts on color in more detail than other color theorists from the psychological aspect. In addition, as a painting student who adopted a colorist style, it was aimed to take artistic studies one step further with the color researches carried out in line with this thesis, and besides, it was aimed to create a source for future studies by eliminating an important deficiency in the literature.en_US
