Özet
Bu çalışmada 1,2-bis-(2-kloroetoksi)etan ile 4-nitrofenol' ün sodyum tuzunun DMF ortamındaki reaksiyonundan nitropodand (1), bu bileşiğin indirgenmesi ile de aminopodand (2) sentezlendi. Aminopodand 2 bileşiğinin sırasıyla salisilaldehit, 5-klorosalisilaldehit, 5-bromosalisilaldehit, 5-hidroksisalisilaldehit, 5-metoksisalisilaldehit ve 2-hidroksi-1-naftaldehit ile etanol ortamındaki reaksiyonundan Schiff bazı türü iminopodand bileşikleri (3-8) elde edildi. Bileşik 3' ün etanol ortamında Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II) ve Cu(II) katyonları ile reaksiyonundan Schiff bazı metal kompleksleri (3a-3e) hazırlandı. Sentezlenen bileşiklerin yapıları FT-IR, UV-VIS., 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR ve TGA spektrumları verilerinden faydalanılarak aydınlatıldı. Ayrıca sentezlenen tüm Schiff bazı iminopodand bileşikleri ile komplekslerinin, mikroorganizmalara karşı antimikrobiyal aktiviteleri incelendi. In this study, nitropodand (1) has been synthesized from the reaction of 1,2-bis-(2-chloroethoxy)ethane and sodium salt of 4-nitrophenol in DMF and by the reduction of this compound aminopodand (2) has been synthesized. Schiff bases type iminopodand compounds (3-8) have been synthesized through the reaction of aminopodand (2) with salicylaldehyde, 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde, 5-bromosalicylaldehyde, 5-hydroxysalicylal- dehyde, 5-methoxysalicylaldehyde and 2-hydroxy-1-naphtaldehyde in ethanol, respectively. Schiff base metal complexes (3a-3e) have been prepared by the reaction of compound 3 with Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) cations in ethanol, respectively. The structures of synthesized Schiff bases and their complexes were illuminated by means of FT-IR, UV-VIS., 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and DTA-TGA data. Moreover, all of the synthesized Schiff bases iminopodand and complexes have been examined in respect of their antimicrobial activities against microorganism.
