Özet

Tethered cord syndrome (TCS) is a neural tube defect that results from an attachment of the conus medullaris that limits movement of the spinal cord within the spinal canal. Temporary and permanent neurological complications may be observed after microsurgical release of the spinal cord. Currently, intraoperative neuromonitorization is used to decrease morbidity during TCS microsurgery.Pre-and postoperative results for 2 patients with tethered cord syndrome followed by intraoperative neuromonitorization are reported here. © 2014, Anatol J Clin Investig.
