Elazığ-Sivrice Depremi'nin (24 ocak 2020) olası öncü belirtileri

Bu çalışma; 24 Ocak 2020 Elazığ-Sivrice Depremi (M=6.8) gerçekleşmeden önce doğa ve canlılar üzerinde gelişen anormal değişimler ile bu değişimlerin hangi zaman aralıklarında gerçekleştiğinin tespit edilmesi ve deprem öncesi anormalliklerin deprem ile bağlantısının incelenmesini kapsamaktadır. Deprem öncüleri sebepleri ile beraber araştırılarak Elazığ Depremi ile ilişkili olduğu düşünülen bulgular çalışma kapsamında incelendi. Bu kapsamda elde edilen araştırma bulgularının deprem kestirimi çalışmalarına katkı sunması hedeflenmektedir. Depremlerden önce gerçekleşen anormalliklerin tespit edilebilmesi için Elazığ'da gözlem yapan katılımcılar üzerinde yüz yüze anket tekniği kullanılarak söz konusu bulguların toplanması amaçlandı. Öncelikle anket sorularının oluşturulabilmesi için aşamalı olarak ön deneme anketi yapıldı. Sonrasında güncellenen anket formunun katılımcılara uygulanması ile elde edilen bulgular bu çalışma kapsamında sunuldu. Elazığ'da oluşturulan barınma alanlarındaki 9 farklı noktada gerçekleştirilen 127 anket için; güvenilirlik ilkesi göz önünde bulundurularak 39 anket çıkartıldı ve 88 anket değerlendirmeye alındı. Anket sonuçlarına göre canlılarda öne çıkan bazı bulgular ve parantez içinde durum sayısı sırası ile: insanlarda sinir bozukluğu ve sıkıntı (23), her an bir şey olacakmış hissi (17), uyku problemleri (17); kuşlarda bağırma (31); köpeklerde bağırma (21) olarak bildirildi. Hava durumu hakkındaki durumlar ve parantez içinde kişi sayısı ile; puslu gün batımı (61), gökyüzünde normalden farklı renk değişiklikleri (35), sisli ve puslu bir hava (64), ani sıcaklık değişimleri (47) olarak bildirildi. Diğer anomaliler ise; şebeke sorunları (27), elektronik cihazlarda sebepsiz bozulmalar (20) olarak bildirildi. Katılımcılara ait öğrenim seviyesinin %36 orta-lise düzeyinde, mesleki durumlarının ise %35 ev hanımı olduğu tespit edildi. Ayrıca Meteoroloji Genel Müdürlüğünden alınan veriler eşliğinde, değişikliğe sebep olan durumların açıklanarak deprem kaynaklı olup olmadıkları belirlenmeye çalışıldı. Sonuç olarak, Elazığ Depreminden önceki yaklaşık birkaç saat ile bir aylık zaman aralığında canlıların, doğanın ve elektronik sistemlerin gözlemlenebilecek şekilde uyarılar verdiği söylenebilir. Yerel ölçekte gözlemlenebilen anomalilerin öncü veriler olarak kayda geçirilmesi; küresel ölçekte deprem tahmin çalışmaları ve erken uyarı sistemlerinin geliştirilmesine katkı sağlayacaktır.

This work covers the determination of the abnormal changes in nature and living things, and the time intervals of these changes before the Elazığ-Sivrice Earthquake (M=6.8) which occurred on January 24, 2020 and examines the connection between the prior earthquake anomalies and the earthquake. The earthquake precursors were investigated together with their reasons and the findings that were thought to be related to the Elazığ Earthquake were examined within the scope of the study. In this context, it is aimed that the research findings obtained will contribute to studies related to earthquake predictions. In order to detect anomalies that occurred before earthquakes, a face-to-face questionnaire technique on participants who made observations in the Elazığ province was used aiming to collect the related findings. First, a pre-trial questionnaire was conducted gradually in order to create the survey questions. The findings obtained from the participants by applying the questionnaire form updated after the trial questionnaire was presented within the scope of this study. Among the 127 questionnaires conducted at 9 different shelter locations within the Elazığ Province, 39 questionnaires were considered non applicable considering the reliability principles and as a result 88 questionnaires were evaluated. According to the results of the survey, for some prominent findings in living things the case numbers are indicated in brackets; nervous disorders and distress in humans (23), feeling that something is going to happen (17), sleep disorder (17); birds yelling (31) barking in dogs (21) were reported. Regarding the weather; misty sunsets (61), out of ordinary color changes in the sky (35), foggy and misty weather (64) and sudden temperature changes (47) were reported. Considering other anomalies; network problems (27 ) and unreasonable breakdowns in electronic devices (20) were reported. The education levels of the participants was observed to be 36% at middle-high school level, and 35% of their professional status resulted in housewife. In addition, data was obtained from the General Directorate of Meteorology, in order to determine whether the circumstances that caused the change were explained or were they caused by earthquakes. As a result, it can be said that living beings, nature and electronic systems gave warnings in a way that were able to be observed in the period of about a few hours to a month before the Elazığ Earthquake. The recorded locally observable anomalies as leading data will contribute to the development of earthquake prediction studies and early warning systems on a global scale.
