dc.description.abstractThe objective of this study is to examine the relationships between the religious beliefs and behavior properties of young, adolescent people with the levels of concern of parents with regard to their children in terms of the psychology of religion. To this end, firstly it was aimed to determine the religiosity profiles of youths as well as the levels of concern of parents. The next objective of the study was to determine the relationship and interaction between the religiosity profile put forth and the levels of concern of parents and to put forth whether this relationship changes with regard to religiosity or not. In addition, another objective of the study was to examine whether the levels of concern of parents changes with regard to socio-cultural and demographic factors or not. SPSS 10.0 package software was used to test the hypotheses of the study and t-test, correlation, single way variance analysis (ANOVA) and Scheffe test were carried out. Religiosity and the level of concern of parents were accepted as the two main variables and personal information form, religiosity scale and level of concern subscale of parents were used as measurement tools. At the end of the study whose sampling was carried out via scanning method and survey method, whereas no statistically significant difference was observed between the level of concern of parents and religiosity, class, age and income levels; various statistically significant differences were observed between the levels of concern of parents and faculty, gender and level of education.
