dc.description.abstractBu çalışma, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Terzioğlu Yerleşkesi'nde bulunan peyzaj bitkilerinin sahip oldukları özelliklerin sistematik olarak tanımlanmasını, mekânsal konumlarının belirlenmesini ve dijital ortama aktarılarak web ara yüzü üzerinden erişilebilecek bir bitki veri tabanının oluşturulmasını amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında, Türkiye ve dünyadaki mevcut bitki veri tabanı sistemleri incelenmiş; bu sistemlerin yapısı, içerik formatları, kullanıcı etkileşim düzeyleri ve teknolojik altyapıları analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen analizler doğrultusunda, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Bilgi İşlem Daire Başkanlığı ile işbirliği içerisinde, hem akademik hem de uygulamalı kullanım alanlarına hitap eden, özgün ve kullanıcı dostu bir bitki veri tabanı geliştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, yüksek hassasiyetli GPS cihazları ile alınan koordinatlar NetCAD ortamında işlenmiş, Google Maps API entegrasyonu aracılılğıyla dijital harita altyapısına aktarılmıştır. Çeşitli teknolojiler kullanılarak geliştirilen web ara yüzü üzerinden bu bilgilere kullanıcı erişimi sağlanmış; sistem, QR kod entegrasyonu sayesinde fiziksel ve dijital unsurlar arasında etkileşim kurulabilecek biçimde yapılandırılmıştır. Ayrıca, 'ÇOMÜ MÜZE' adı altında oluşturulan bu platformun yalnızca peyzaj bitkileriyle sınırlı kalmayıp, kampüs ekosistemine ait diğer doğal unsurları da kapsayacak şekilde genişletilmesi planlanmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda, yerleşkede bulunan toplam 115 bitki türü yapraklı ağaçlar, ibreli ağaçlar, çalılar ve sarmaşıklar olmak üzere dört ana grupta sınıflandırılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, yerleşke peyzajında estetik, ekolojik, yönlendirici ve eğitimsel işlevlerin etkin bir biçimde yerine getirildiğini ortaya koymaktadır.
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to systematically identify the characteristics of landscape plants in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Terzioglu Campus, to determine their spatial locations, and to create a plant database that can be digitized and accessed through a web interface. Within the scope of the study, existing plant database systems in Turkey and the world were examined; the structure, content formats, user interaction levels and technological infrastructures of these systems were analyzed. In line with the analysis, a unique and user-friendly plant database was developed in cooperation with Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Department of Information Technologies, for both academic and applied use. In the research, the coordinates taken with high-precision GPS devices were processed in NetCAD environment and transferred to the digital map infrastructure through Google Maps API integration. User access to this information was provided through the web interface developed using various technologies; the system was structured in such a way that interaction between physical and digital elements could be established through QR code integration. In addition, this platform, which was created under the name 'ÇOMÜ MUSEUM', is planned to be expanded to include not only landscape plants but also other natural elements of the campus ecosystem. As a result of the research, a total of 115 plant species found in the campus were classified into four main groups: leafy trees, coniferous trees, shrubs and vines. The findings reveal that aesthetic, ecological, directive and educational functions are effectively fulfilled in the campus landscape.
