Gökçeada (Çanakkale, Türkiye)'da yaşayan Natrix natrix (Lınnaeus, 1758) populasyonu üzerinde morfolojik araştırmalar

dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada Gökçeada'da 2009-2013 yılları arasında yapılan arazi çalışmaları sonucunda toplanan 17 Natrix natrix persa örneği (3??, 5??, 4 semiadult, 5 juv) renk-desen özelliklerine göre ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiştir. Bu örneklerden sırt rengi tamamen siyah olan melanistik form ayrıca değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuçta Gökçeada populasyonunda melanistik örnek dahil örneklerin %52.94'ünde sırt zemin renginin siyah olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu yüksek orandaki renk-desen yapısı Türkiye N. n. persa populasyonlarında ilk kez tespit edilen bir durumdur. Gökçeada örneklerinin sadece %23,5 inde N. n. persa alttüründe sık rastlanan renk-desen yapısı tespit edilmiştir. Ventral plaklar hariç vücudun yan kısımları ve sırt tarafı tamamen siyah olan tek melanistik form dışında diğer örneklerde pholidosis özellikleri ve morfometrik ölçümler bakımından Natrix natrix persa alttürü için literatürde verilen değerlere uymakla birlikte bazı pholidosis ile vücut ölçüm ve oranlarında (Scau, B+G, KU, BU, FU, FG) bazı farklar tespit edilmiştir. Melanistik formda ise ventral renk-desen durumu literatürde belirtilenden farklı olup, aynı örnekte postocularia bir tarafta 4 iken diğer tarafta 3 dür. Ayrıca örneklerden elde edilen bazı kan değerleri (ES, EU, EG, LS, NU, NG) Türkiye'deki N. n. persa alttürü için verilen değerlerle karşılaştırıldığında dişi örneklerdeki eritrosit değerleri literatürde verilenden daha düşük bulunmuştur. Tüm örneklerdeki eritrosit ve nukleus çapları benzerlik göstermekle birlikte, ortalama eritrosit sayısı Gökçeada örneklerinde daha yüksek, hem eritrosit hem de nukleus uzunlukları ise daha düşük bulunmuştur. Gökçeada'dan iki örnekte lökosit sayısı literatürde verilen minimum değerden daha düşük olarak tespit edilmiştir.
dc.description.abstractIn this research, 17 samples of Natrix natrix persa (3??, 5??, 4 semiadult, 5 juv.) which collected as results of fieldworks in Gökçeada between the years of 2009 and 2013 are analyzed according to their color-pattern qualifications. Among these samples, a melanistic form who has completely dark colored of its back is examined separately. The results showed that the 52.94% of population in Gökçeada included melanistic form, has completely dark colored of their back sides. This high rate for the color-pattern composition is determined for the first time among the all N. n. persa populations of Turkey. The color-pattern composition founded often on subspecies of N. n. persa is identified only on 23.5% of the samples from Gökçeada. Omit from the melanistic form which has dark colored at its side and back except ventral plates, samples have the same qualifications as given in literature for subspecies Natrix natrix persa. Besides, some differences are determined in terms of pholidosis qualification and body measurements (Scau, H+B, TL, HL, FL, FW) of those samples. On the other hand, melanistic form is different than literature in terms of ventral color-pattern qualifications, it also has 4 postocularia at one side and 3 at another side. In addition, when the values of blood tests (RBC, EL, EW, WBC, NL, NW) of samples are compared to literature for subspecies N. n. persa in Turkey; the erythrocyte values of females are found lower than literature. Although calibers of erythrocytes and nucleus in all samples are similar to each other, the average of erythrocyte numbers is found higher and the length of both erythrocytes and nucleus are found shorter in samples of Gökçeada. Leucocyte numbers of two samples of Gökçeada are determined as lower than the minimum value given in literature.
