dc.description.abstractKentsel mekânlar üzerinde çeşitli etkilere sahip olan iç göçler, siyasal davranış kalıplarını da etkilemektedir. Hedef mekândaki göçün hacmi, yeni kentlilerin sosyo-ekonomik yapı ve kimliklere göre kümelenmeleri kentlerin geleneksel seçmen davranışlarını değiştirebilmektedir. Bu da mekânın kentsel alanlarda siyasal kutuplaşmalarını arttırır. Yoğun göç alan kentlerde bu durumun etkisi daha yüksektir. Nüfusunun yarısına yakınını diğer illerden gelen göçmenlerin oluşturduğu Bursa kenti, iç göç ve seçim ilişkiselliğini en iyi yansıtabilecek mekânlardan birisidir. Bu makalede Bursa’nın aldığı iç göçlerin genel seçimler üzerindeki etkisine odaklanılmıştır. Yüksek Seçim Kurulu’nun 2002-2015 Kasım arasındaki beş genel seçim sonucu kullanılarak, Bursa metropoliten alanı içerisinde yoğun göç almış 33 mahallenin siyasal deseni ortaya konulmuş ve köken bölgeyle seçmen davranışı arasındaki ilişkisellik Çok Boyutlu Ölçekleme (MDS) analiziyle incelenmiştir. Bulgulara göre, Bursa’da köken bölgeyle birleşmiş etnik ve inanç kimliklerine göre kümelenmenin daha yüksek olduğu mahallelerde hemşehri kümelerinin siyasi paterni önemli düzeyde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Kaynak bölgenin hâkim seçmen davranışı hedef bölgede güçlü kümeleme gösteren mahallelerde devam ettirildiği gözlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda incelenen mahallelerdeki göçmenlerin önemli bir kısmının oy verme davranışının sosyo-psikolojik temelli olduğu söylenebilir.
dc.description.abstractInternal migration, which has various effects on urban spaces, also influences political behavior patterns. The number of migrants in a target area and how they cluster based on their socioeconomic structure and identity can alter traditional voting patterns of cities. This increases the political polarization of space in urban areas. The impact of this situation is higher in cities with high migration rates. The city of Bursa, where nearly half of the population is made up of migrants from other provinces, is one of the places that can best reflect relationship of internal migration and elections. This article focuses on the impact of internal migration in Bursa on the general elections. Using data from five elections between 2002 and 2015, it analyzes the voting patterns in 33 high-migration neighborhoods. The study employs Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) to explore the correlation between a migrant's region of origin and their voting behavior. The findings indicate that in Bursa, neighborhoods with higher clustering based on combined factors of region of origin, ethnicity, and religious identity exhibit a significant influence of co-migrant clusters on the political pattern It has been observed that the dominant voter behavior of the region of origin persists in neighborhoods showing significant clustering in the target region. In this context, it can be argued that the voting behavior of a significant portion of the migrants in the examined neighborhoods is based on socio-psychological factors.
