dc.description.abstractSunulan bu tezde, ilk olarak karbon ve azot atomlarının temel ve uyarılmış elektron konfigürasyonlan için L, Lz, S ve S z operatörlerinin özfonksiy onları olan ve determinant dalga fonksiyonlarından oluşan ifadeler ve Çiftlenim-İzdüşüm katsayılarının sayısal değerleri bulunmuştur. Daha sonra, bulunan bu ifade ve değerlerinden faydalanılarak azot atomunun temel terimi, orbital enerjileri ve lineer kombinasyon katsayıları hesaplanmıştır. Hesaplamaların güvenli olması için Virial katsayısı da hesaplanmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Çiftlenim-İzdüşüm Katsayıları, Hartree-Fock (HF) ve Hartree-Fock-Roothaan (HFR) Teorileri, Slater Atom Orbitalleri, Determinant Dalga Fonksiyonları.
dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, it is found that Eigen functions of L, Lz, S and Sz operators can be expessed in terms of determinantal wave functions for ground and exited conguration of Carbon and Nitrogen atom. From this relations and obtained coupling-projection coefficient values, orbital energies and linear combination vefficients were calculated for Nitrogen atom. Sensitive of calculations is verified by calculation of virial coefficient. Key words: Coupling-Projection coefficient, Hartree-Fock (HF) and Hartree-Fock-Roothaan (HFR) Theory, Slater Atomic Orbital, Determinantal Wave Functions.
