dc.description.abstractSurre; her yıl hac mevsiminde Mekke ve Medine'ye gönderilen para, altın ve kıymetli hediyeler anlamına gelmektedir. Tarihte ilk surre, Abbasi halifesi El–Muktedir Billâh tarafından H. 311/ M. 923-924 yılında gönderilmiştir. Güçlü bir devlet olan Osmanlı Devleti'nde ilk defa Mekke ve Medine'ye surre gönderilmesi âdetinin Çelebi Sultan Mehmet döneminde başladığı bilinmektedir. Surrelerin bağış olarak gönderilmesi ise Bayezıd döneminde başlamıştır. Surre, Mekke ve Medine ahalisine yarı yarıya paylaştırılmak üzere her yıl hac mevsiminde gönderilmiştir. Tezde Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivi'nden temin edilen, Sultan I. Murad Han Türbesi'nin Vakfı'nın 1054-1088 yılları arasında Mekke ve Medine şehirlerin gönderdiği surrelerin kaydedildiği surre defterinden yararlanılarak; bu yardımların kimlere, hangi görevlilere, ne kadar miktarda verdiğini tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
dc.description.abstractSurre; It means the money, gold and valuable gifts sent to Mecca and Medina every year during the pilgrimage season. The first surre in history was sent by the Abbasid caliph Al-Muqtadir Billah by in 311/923-924. It is known that the tradition of sending surre to Mecca and Medina for the first time in the Ottomon Empire, which was a powerful empire, started during the reign of Çelebi Sultan Mehmed. Sending Surras as donations started during the reign of Bayezid. Surre was sent to the people of Mecca and Medina every year during the pilgrimage season to be divided half and half. In the thesis, by making use of the surah book obtained from the Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives, in which the surahs provided by the Foundation of the Tomb of Sultan Murad I between 1054 and 1088 for the cities of Mecca and Medina are recorded; To whom this aid will be provided, to which officials, and in how comprehensive a manner will it be ensured.
