dc.description.abstractOn November 2019, one mature male specimen of the Mediterranean parrotfishSparisoma cretense (L.) was caught by a long line in Dikili Bay. This paper declares thenorthernmost distribution of S. cretense in the northern Aegean Sea. Here, the detailedmorphometric and meristic characteristics of this species are given.
