This study evaluates responses of companies to climate change. This evaluation based on disclosures made in annual reports and websites of 92 largest companies of Turkey from 15 sectors. To make better evaluation first climate change indices was developed and then companies responses was assessed. Results of this study shows that big scale companies achieve more responsive reactions to climate change as compared to companies in smaller scales. There was no difference between responses of private and public companies. But companies in environment sensitive sectors such as petroleum- gas, automotive and energy are more responsive to climate change than other companies. Additionally multinational companies are more sensitive than national companies.
