Özet

Health personnel identify knowledge, behaviors, disinfection measures about hepatitis B in emergency medical stations. It was type descriptor of the study. Turkey's seven regions of the medical personnel in emergency units were randomly selected and agreed to study the total sample was 433 people. Questions were made by scanning the relevant literature. Number-percent evaluation, disinfectant use and education level for statistical difference between the chi-square test was used. 85.9% of the respondents was in order to tattoo, 91% own shaving/manicure instruments to use. 85% of people had to protect hepatitis vaccination. They transmit the virus via infect the injector (97.9%) but 22.4% will be transmitted via respiratory and 29.6% hepatitis C to convert said was surprising. Educational status between using low or medium level of disinfectants was statistically significant difference (p <0.05). The present study indicates that attitudes and behavior of health personnel is related to lack of knowledge. The study underlines the need for continuous education and information about hepatitis B.
