| dc.description.abstract | Çanakkale İli, Ayvacık İlçesi'nde bulunan Assos Antik Kenti'nde kazılarda ele geçmiş ve halen arazide olup yüzey buluntusu olarak kayıtlara girilen Yunan ve Roma Dönemlerine ait zeytinyağı, üzüm ve tahıl ürünlerinin işlenmesi aşamasında kullanılan öğütme ve ezgi taşları bu yüksek lisans tezinin ana konusunu oluşturmaktadır.Araştırma kapsamında 121 tane örnek incelenmiş ve yakın çevreden örneklerle benzerlikleri sorgulanmıştır. Assos'un tarihçesi, coğrafi konumu, çevresel kaynakları, ekonomisi, tarımsal ürünleri dönüştürmede kullanılan aletlerin teknolojisi göze alınarak ağırlıklı olarak öğütme ve ezgi taşları tipolojileri ve farklılaşmaları incelenmeye çalışılmış. Bu çalışma ile üretim aletlerinin tipolojilerin oluşturulması, işlevsel açıdan açıklanması, teknolojik özelliklerinin benzerleriyle karşılaştırılması ve buna bağlı üretim teknolojilerinin incelenmesi öncelikli olarak da mevcut arkeolojik verilerin kataloglanıp tanımlanması hedeflenmiştir.Söz konusu teknolojilerin, ezme işlevli aletlerin ve öğütme taşlarının kullanım gördüğü alan ve coğrafi şartlara bağlı olarak farklılıklar gösterse de temelde aynı amaç için üretildiği; bu eserlerin günlük hayata ilişkin ürünlerin dönüştürülmesinde kullanılmış olduğu görülmüştür. Geçmişten günümüze gelen bu örneklerin özellikle Assos yerleşim haritası üzerindeki dağılımı ve üretimine ilişkin veriler elde edilmiştir. Eserlerin büyük bir kısmı Yunan ve Roma dönemlerine ait olup, bazı örneklerin Bizans döneminde ve daha geç dönemlerde de benzer ve farklı amaçlarla -duvar yapımı gibi- kullanıldığı anlaşılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The main subject of this master thesis is consist of the Ancient Greek and Roman crushing and grinding stones that have been found in the Excavations of Assos in Çanakkale/Ayvacık and also recorded as the survey founds. In this thesis, a total of 121 examples have been studied and compared with the similar material of the close sites. The typology and the distinction of the crushing and grinding stones have been investigated, in the light of history, geographic location, environmental resources, economy and the agricultural production of Assos. Creating the typology of the production devices that mentioned above, explanation of these devices in the terms of function, comparison of their technological features with the similar examples and study of these production technologies, and primarily the identification and cataloging of the existing archaeological material, are the main aims of this thesis.It has been seen that, although all these technologies may show some different features based on the geographical and climatic differences, the main purpose is the same as those have been used on the transformation of the daily life productions. Also some data on the distribution and production of this material on the site map of Assos have been gathered.
