dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri’nde yürütülen proje çalışmalarına ilişkin öğrenci görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi desenlerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi’nde yer alan bir Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi’nde öğrenim gören, ulusal ve uluslararası proje çalışmalarına katılmış ve çeşitli başarılar elde etmiş beş özel yetenekli öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme kullanılmıştır. Görüşme formunun hazırlanmasında uzman görüşüne başvurulmuştur. Veri analizinde içerik analizi yürütülmüş olup elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda kodlar, kategoriler ve temalar oluşturulmuştur. Katılımcılar, Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi’nde yürütülen proje çalışmalarının özgün olduğunu ve problem çözme becerilerini geliştirme, işbirliğini ve özgüveni arttırma gibi birçok faydası olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Bununla birlikte katılımcılar proje çalışmalarında; konu belirleme, süreç, rapor yazma, jüri üyeleri, projelerin sunumu ve malzemeye ulaşma açısından birçok problemlerle karşılaştıklarını da belirtmişlerdir. Katılımcıların belirtikleri problemlere yönelik çözüm önerileri; bilimselliğe dikkat edilerek alan yazının detaylı taranması, farklı alanlarda çalışmalar yürüten kişilerden jüri üyelerinin seçilmesi, üniversitelerin ve diğer kurumların proje çalışmalarına destek vermesi yönündedir. Bu değerlendirmeler ışığında, proje çalışmalarının yoğun olarak yürütüldüğü Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri’nde öğrenim gören öğrencilere proje çalışmalarına yönelik belli dönemlerde eğitimlerin verilmesi önem arz etmektedir. Ayrıca, üniversitelerin proje çalışmaları yapan Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi öğrencilerine malzeme temini ve bilgi paylaşımı yönünden gerekli desteği vermesi önerilmektediren_US
dc.description.abstractIn this research, the aim was to evaluate students’ opinions about the project work carried out in Science and Art Centers. Phenomenology design, a qualitative research design, was used in the research. The research group consisted of five gifted students studying at a Science and Art Center in the Eastern Anatolia Region and participating in national and international project studies. In the research, a semi-structured interview was used as the data collection tool. Expert opinion was sought in the preparation of the interview form. Content analysis was carried out in the data analysis and codes, categories and themes were created in line with the data obtained. The participants stated that the project work carried out at the Science and Art Center are original and have many benefits such as fostering problem solving skills, cooperation and self-confidence. In addition, participants in the project work also stated that they faced many problems in terms of subject determination, process, report writing, jury members, presentation of projects and access to materials. In order to solve the problems, the participants suggested that the literature should be scanned in detail paying attention to scientific aspects, and the jury members should be selected from persons carrying out studies in different fields. It was also recommended that universities and other institutions should support the project work. In the light of these evaluations, it is important to provide training on project studies to the students studying in Science and Art Centers where project activities are carried out intensively. In addition, it is recommended that universities provide the necessary support to Science and Art Center students who carry out project studies, in terms of material supplies and information sharing.en_US
