dc.description.abstractPurpose: The aim of this study is to examine the level of continuous sports self-confidence in amateur football players in terms of according to playing position, dominant foot, sports trainig age, educational and economic status. Method: The cross-sectional research method, one of the quantitative research designs, was used in the study. The sample of the study consists of 118 male amateur football players over the age of 18 (age: 16.55±4.67 years). Research data were collected using the "Sport Trait Self-Confidence (STSC)" scale. “Mann Whitney-U” and “Kruskall Wallis” tests were used in the statistical analysis of the data. Results: According to statistical results; It has been found that amateur football players have a high level of self-confidence. No significant difference between the scale average and total scores of the athletes according to position and education level (p>0.05), but there was a significant difference according to sports age (p [TR] Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı amatör erkek futbolcuların sportif özgüven düzeylerinin, mevkiye, baskın ayak durumuna, spor yaşına, eğitim durumu ve ekonomik duruma göre incelenmesidir. Yöntem: Çalışmada nicel araştırma desenlerinden kesitsel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini 18 yaş üzeri 118 erkek amatör futbolcu (yaş:16,55±4,67 yıl) oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri “Sportif Sürekli Kendine Güven (SSKG)” ölçeği ve “Kişisel Bilgi Formu (KBF)” kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin istatistiksel analizinde “Mann Whitney-U” ve “Kruskall Wallis” testleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: İstatistiksel sonuçlara göre; amatör futbolcuların kendine güven düzeyinin yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur.
