dc.description.abstractGünümüzde peyzaj bitkileri, sanayileşme ile birlikte kent yaşamı üzerinde meydana gelen olumsuz etkilerin azaltılması ve önlenebilmesi konusunda önemli bir yere sahiptir. Peyzaj bitkilerinin kentlerde; ısı adaları oluşumunu önleme, hava kirliliğini en aza indirgeme, iklimsel konfor sağlama, gürültüyü azaltma gibi birçok işlevsel özelliği vardır. Bu nedenle peyzaj bitkilerinin kent hayatına olumlu katkı sağlayarak insan konforunu arttırma ve kent yaşamını iyileştirme etkisi son derece fazladır. Ayrıca bölgenin doğal bitki örtüsünde yer alan bitki türleri ile peyzaj bitkileri birlikte kullanılarak mümkün olduğunca canlı, renkli ve işlevsel kentsel mekanlar yaratılmakta ve kentlilerin kullanımına sunulmaktadır. İşte bu noktada kentlerde özellikle büyük alan kaplayan, yapılaşmanın ve kentlerin dışında geniş rekreasyonel peyzaj alanlarına ve önemli sayıda peyzaj bitkisine sahip olan kentsel olgulardan birisi de üniversite yerleşkeleridir. Üniversite yerleşkeleri gerek kapladıkları alan gerekse sahip oldukları bitkisel zenginlik açısından kent yaşamının iyileştirilmesinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu çalışmada, veri toplama, analiz, sentez ve değerlendirmeye dayalı peyzaj araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak; Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Terzioğlu Yerleşkesi içerisinde bulunan peyzaj bitkileri tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda yerleşkenin peyzaj bitkilerinden oluşan bitki varlığı belirlenerek, her bitkinin özelliklerini anlatan kapsamlı birer tablo hazırlanmış, belirlenen peyzaj bitkilerinin harita üzerine aktarımı yapılmış ve bu bitkileri içeren kapsamlı bitki kataloğu hazırlanmıştır.

Landscape plants in cities; There are many functional features such as prevention of heat island formation, reduction of air pollution to the minimum, provision of climatic comfort, noise reduction. For this reason, the effect of landscaping plants to improve human comfort and improve urban life by contributing positively to urban life is extremely high. In addition, the plant species found in the natural vegetation cover the landscape plants together with the vivid, colorful and functional urban spaces as much as possible and presented to the citizens. At this point, one of the urban phenomena that occupy a particularly large area in the cities and have a large number of recreational landscape landscapes and a considerable number of landscaping plants outside the cities are the university campuses. University campuses have an important place in the improvement of urban life in terms of the area they cover or the vegetative richness they possess. In this study, by using landscape research method based on data collection, analysis, synthesis and evaluation; Landscape plants in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Terzioğlu Campus have been determined. As a result of the research, a comprehensive table describing the properties of each plant prepared by determining the presence of plants constituting the landscape plants of the settlement, and the determined landscape plants transferred to the map and a comprehensive plant catalog containing these plants have been prepared.
