dc.description.abstractTürkiye'de inceleme alanı artış gösteren lojistik ve bölgesel kalkınma kavramı pek çok akademik çalışmada ele alınmıştır. Bir bölgenin sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel düzeyinin geliştirilmesi olarak ifade edilen bölgesel kalkınma, ülke kalkınmasına nazaran daha karmaşık bir yapıya sahiptir. Lojistik kavramı ise yeni olmakla birlikte özellikle ülkelerin rekabet gücü açısından son dönemlerde büyük önem taşımaktadır. Dünyada yaşanan bölgesel kalkınma hareketliliği; bu alandaki sürecin, politikaların ve uygulamaların değişimine neden olmaktadır. Bu bağlamda yeni nesil görüşleri içeren akademik çalışmaların boyutu, değişen süreç için yol gösterici nitelikte olmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın ana hedefi ise lojistik sektörünün, bölge kalkınmasına yaptığı etkileri ele alarak sektörün katkılarını değerlendirmektir. Bu tez çalışmasında öncelikle bölgesel kalkınma ve lojistik kavramına değinilmiş sonrasında iki kavram arasındaki ilişki ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın araştırma kısmında ise Çanakkale ili ele alınarak şehrin lojistik yapısı, gelişimi ve önemli ulaştırma projelerden biri olan 1915 Çanakkale Köprüsü özelinde sektörün bölge kalkınmasına etkisi ve gelişme potansiyeli incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla çeşitli ulusal ve bölgesel kuruluşlardan sağlanan istatistiki verilerden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, bölge kalkınmasında lojistik sektörünün önemini arttırdığı ve gelişme potansiyelinin yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Aynı zamanda lojistik sektörü ve 1915 Çanakkale Köprüsü'nü birlikte ele alan daha önce bir bilimsel çalışmanın yapılmamış olması bu çalışmayı farklı kılan en önemli özellik olmuştur.
dc.description.abstractThe concept of logistics and regional development, whose area of study has increased in Turkey, has been discussed in many academic studies. Regional development, which is expressed as improving the socio-economic and cultural level of a region, has a more complex structure than national development. Although the concept of logistics is new, it has been of great importance in recent times, especially in terms of the competitiveness of countries. Regional development dynamism in the world; It causes changes in the process, policies and practices in this field. In this context, the extent of academic studies that include new generation views provides guidance for the changing process. The main goal of this study is to evaluate the contributions of the logistics sector by addressing its effects on the development of the region. In this thesis study, firstly the concepts of regional development and logistics were mentioned and then the relationship between the two concepts was tried to be revealed. In the research part of the study, Çanakkale province was discussed and the logistics structure of the city, its development and the impact of the sector on the regional development and its development potential were examined, specifically the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which is one of the important transportation projects. For this purpose, statistical data provided from various national and regional organizations were used. As a result of the research, it is seen that the logistics sector has increased its importance in the development of the region and has a high development potential. At the same time, the most important feature that makes this study different is that no scientific study has been conducted before examining the logistics sector and the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge together.
