Modern resimde fantazmagorik ve grotesk imgeler

Bu çalışmada, Hıristiyanlaşan Ortaçağ'da eskil inanç sistemlerinden gelen fantastik yaratık imgelerinin ilahi ve kötu?cu?l yu?ku?mlu?lu?kler u?stlenerek edindikleri korkutucu göru?nu?mlerini 17. yu?zyılda Aydınlanma ile 19. yu?zyılda da Romantizm ve Kara Romantizm ile yitirmeleri Modern çağda ise popu?ler ku?ltu?ru?n etkisiyle metalaştırılmaları irdelenmiştir. Antik dönemlerden gelen mitolojik yaratıkların edebiyat, sanat ve modern çağın göru?ntu? estetiğine yansırken Ortaçağ'da sahip olduğu grotesk göru?ntu?yu? zamanla yitirmesi, toplumsal ve edebi değişimler dışında inanç ve felsefi bakış açılarının ışığında değerlendirilmiştir. Edebiyat ve sanattaki yeni yaklaşımların 18. yu?zyılda yu?kselmesiyle değişen kötu?lu?k algısı ve bunun biçimlere yansıması yeni canavar ve yaratık imgelemleri ortaya çıkartmıştır. Bireyin yalnızlaşması, geçmişe nostaljik özlem ve du?nyayı yeniden bu?yu?lu? kılma gibi romantik du?şlerle hareket eden sanatçılar; Şeytan gibi erken dönemde insanlığın du?şmanı sayılan bir figu?ru? de yeniden yorumlamış, isyankar kahraman imgesini yaratmıştır. Kara Romantizm, Sembolizm, Su?rrealizm gibi insanın ve toplumun bilinç altında gizlenen karanlık du?şleri yu?zeye çıkartarak nostaljik bir gu?du?yle eskil dönemlerden faydalanarak yeni mitolojiler yaratma arzusundaki sanat akımları incelenmiştir. Popu?ler ku?ltu?r ve sinemanın da etkisiyle çağdaşlaşarak yeni biçimlerde ortaya çıkan fantastik imgelemlerin inançsal ve sosyolojik kökenleri ile sanata yansımaları araştırılmıştır. İnsanın yu?celik arzusuyla fetiş bir korku ve fantezi nesnesi biçiminde kodladığı bu vampir, cadı, yaratık, şeytan gibi imgelemlerin değişim ve dönu?şu?mlerinin ardındaki duygu ve gu?du?ler tarihsel ve sosyolojik nedensellerle irdelenmiştir.

In this study, the intimidation of the images of fantastic creatures coming from the old belief systems in the Christianized Medieval, which were acquired by assuming divine and malicious obligations, were lost with the Enlightenment in the 17th century and with Romanticism and Dark Romanticism in the 19th century. While the mythological creatures coming from antiquity were reflected in the aesthetics of literature, art, and the modern age, the loss of the grotesque image in the Medieval over time was evaluated in the light of belief and philosophical perspectives except for social and literary changes. With the rise of new approaches in literature and art in the 18th century, the evolving perception of evil and its reflection on forms has created a new monster and creature imaginations. Artists acting with romantic dreams such as loneliness of the individual, nostalgic longing for the past and making the world magical again; they reinterpreted a figure like Satan in the early period, which was considered an enemy of humanity, and created the image of a rebellious hero. Artistic movements like Dark Romanticism, Symbolism, Surrealism and the desire to create new mythologies by utilizing the old periods with a nostalgic motive by revealing the dark dreams concealed under the consciousness of human and society were examined. The beliefs and sociological origins and the reflections of the fantastic imaginations that emerged in new forms by modernizing with the influence of popular culture and cinema were investigated. The emotions and motives behind the changes and transformations of these visions such as vampire, witch, creature, and devil, which are coded as a fetish horror and fantasy object with the desire of human being, have been examined with historical and sociological reasons.
