dc.description.abstractÇanakkale Zaferi hem Dünya hem de Türk tarihi açısından çok önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu sebeple Çanakkale zaferinin kutlanması daha ilk yıllarından itibaren bir gelenek haline gelmiştir. Çalışmamızda 1915 – 1938 yılları arasında Gelibolu Yarımadasına yapılan ziyaretler ve anma törenlerin Türk basınında işlenişi ele alınmıştır. Temel amaç, Çanakkale Zaferinin yarattığı şan ve şerefin toplum ile devlet yöneticileri tarafından nasıl anıldığı ve hangi şartlarda ziyaret edildiği olmuştur. Türk ve yabancı devlet erkânları, kurumlar, dernekler tarafından yapılan ziyaretler ve anma törenlerinin Türk basınında nasıl yansıdığına dair yazılar dâhilince çalışma yapılmıştır. Ayrıca çalışma içerisinde yabancı ülkelerde yapılan anma ve törenlerinin Türk basınına nasıl yansıdığına dair haberlere de değinilmiştir.
dc.description.abstractÇanakkale Victory comes to prominence in terms of both World and Turkish history. Therefore, the commemoration of the Çanakkale Victory is established as a tradition starting from the victory's early years. This study aims to focus on the visits undertaken to the Gelibolu Peninsula and analyze the commemorations with regard to the Turkish press. The study's chief objective is to determine how the glory and honor, brought via Çanakkale Victory, are commemorated and under what circumstances the Peninsula is visited by the society and the state officials. The documents, specializing in the commemorations and visits, undertaken by Turkish and foreign state officers, institutions, and organizations, are considered throughout the research study. In addition, the effect of the commemorations and ceremonies, performed in foreign countries, upon the Turkish press is mentioned.
