dc.description.abstractİklim değişikliği bugün tüm canlıların karşılaştığı en büyük tehditlerden birisi olarak nitelendirilmektedir. Dünya genelinde artan sıcaklıklar, deniz seviyelerinin yükselmesi, aşırı yağış gibi birçok olay iklim değişikliğinin kentlerdeki etkilerini göstermektedir. Bu etkiler kentte yaşayan topluluğu rahatsız ederek yaşam kalitelerini olumsuz etkilemekte ve hatta bazı durumlarda bu etkiler ölüm ile sonuçlanmaktadır. İklim değişikliğinin olumsuz etkilerindeki artış nedenlerinden birisi de hızlı ve plansız kentleşmedir. Azalan yeşil alanlar, plansız yapılaşma, geri dönüştürülemeyen evsel atıklar ve artan sanayileşme iklimi olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada iklim değişikliğinin Edirne kent merkezindeki mevcut ve olası etkilerinin ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır
dc.description.abstractClimate change is defined as one of the greatest threats facing all living things today. Many events such as increasing temperatures, rising sea levels, and excessive precipitation around the world show the effects of climate change in cities. These effects disturb the society living in the city and negatively affect their quality of life, and in some cases, these effects result in death. One of the reasons for the increase in the negative effects of climate change is rapid and unplanned urbanization. Decreased green spaces, unplanned construction, non-recyclable domestic waste and increasing industrialization negatively affect the climate. In this context, in this study, it is aimed to reveal the current and possible effects of climate change in the Edirne city center.
