dc.description.abstractAccommodation companies named as hotels, five-star hotels, city hotels; They are venues that serve for multi-purpose activities such as accommodation, recreation, sports, entertainment, education and art. There are determining factors in choosing the accommodation business in these events. Preference factors vary according to customer satisfaction and the services provided. Hotels; employees and business environments, customers and their satisfaction, architecture, and environmental order can be a subject of study for many disciplines.In this study, a city hotel is discussed. Kolin hotel, the first five-star hotel in Çanakkale, is the starting point of the study. For the Kolin Hotel, which has an important place in the city silhouette and identity, the landscape architecture professional discipline has been evaluated. These evaluations have been examined under the title of landscape design. Topics guiding the assessment are planted design, structural design and reinforcements. The location layout in the outer areas of Kolin Hotel has been conveyed, and non-aesthetic problems identified in structural dimensions are evaluated with suggestions. Practical benefits will be provided for the image of the hotel with the recommendations made for the observations made within the scope of landscape design in the open areas of Kolin hotel
dc.description.abstractOtel, beş yıldızlı otel, kent oteli şeklinde isimlendirilen konaklama işletmeleri; konaklama, dinlenme, spor, eğlence, eğitim, sanat gibi çok amaçlı etkinlikler için hizmet veren mekânlardır. Bu etkinliklerde konaklama işletmesinin tercih edilmesinde belirleyici faktörler bulunmaktadır. Tercih faktörleri müşteri memnuniyeti ve sunulan hizmetlere göre değişkenlik göstermektedir. Oteller; çalışanlar ve iş ortamları, müşteriler ve memnuniyetleri, mimarisi, çevre düzeni olarak ele alındığında birçok disiplin için çalışma konusu olabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada bir kent oteli ele alınmıştır. Çanakkale kentinin ilk beş yıldızlı oteli olan Kolin Hotel çalışmanın hareket noktasıdır. Kent silüetinde ve kimliğinde önemli bir yeri olan Kolin Hotel için peyzaj mimarlığı meslek disiplini açısından değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Söz konusu değerlendirmeler peyzaj tasarım başlığında incelenmiştir. Değerlendirmeye yön veren başlıklar ise bitkisel tasarım, yapısal tasarım ve donatılardır. Kolin Hotel dış alanlarında mekân yerleşimi aktarılmış, yapısal boyutta tespit edilen, estetik olmayan sorunlar öneriler eşliğinde değerlendirilmiştir. Yapısal tasarımı destekleyen bitkisel tasarım için alana bitki rengi, formu ve sayısı ile hareket kazandırabilecek Resimde; donatı boyutunda ise yıpranmış ve yetersiz donatılar olduğu, alanda müşterilere yönelik tasarımlar yapılırken çalışanların da konforunun sağlanabileceği eksiklikler tespit edilmiştir. Kolin Hotel açık alanlarında yapılan çalışmada; gözlemlere yönelik sunulan öneriler ile otelin peyzaj imajı ve peyzaj kalitesi için pratik ve sosyal fayda sağlanmış olacaktır.
