Pre-service Teachers' Competences in Using Web 2.0 Tools: A Mixed Method Research

dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to examine the opinions of candidate art education teachers about their Occupational Preference and the requirement of art education. The study group of the research consists of 112 Candidate teachers studying at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Education, Department of Arts Education in the 2022-2023 academic year. The data of the study were collected by face-to-face interview method with an interview form consisting of 3 questions. The data were analyzed according to the qualitative research method. MAXQDA 2020 program was used in the analysis of Candidate teachers' answers to the questions, and content analysis method was used in the analysis of justified answers. According to the findings obtained as a result of the research; it was seen that the rate of Candidate teachers willingly choosing the department they study is above 90% and the 4th grade Candidate teachers have the lowest rate among all grades. Although the majority of the Candidate teachers willingly preferred the department they were studying in, 22% of the Candidate teachers studying in the Department of Music Education and 41.9% of the Candidate teachers studying in the Department of Art Education stated that they wanted to study in a different department. According to another finding obtained from the research, 78.5% of the candidates studying in the Department of Music Education and 91.2% of the candidates studying in the Department of Art Education were observed to see art education as a requirement
dc.description.abstractBu araştırmayla Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi öğretmen adaylarının mesleki tercihleri ve sanat eğitiminin gerekliliğine ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılı Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü’nde öğrenim gören 112 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri 3 sorudan oluşan bir görüşme formu ile yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Veriler nitel araştırma yöntemine göre analiz edilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının sorulara verdikleri yanıtların analizinde MAXQDA 2020 paket programından yararlanılmış, gerekçelendirilmiş yanıtların analizinde ise içerik analizi yönteminden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre; öğretmen adaylarının öğrenim gördüğü anabilim dalını isteyerek tercih etme oranının %90’ın üzerinde olduğu ve tüm sınıflar içinde 4. Sınıf öğretmen adayların en düşük orana sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretmen adaylarının büyük bir çoğunluğu öğrenim gördüğü anabilim dalını isteyerek tercih etmesine karşın Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda öğrenim gören adayların %22’si, Resim-İş Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda öğrenim gören adayların %41.9’u farklı bir bölümde öğrenim görmek istediğini belirtmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bir diğer bulguya göre Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda öğrenim görenlerin %78.5’i, Resim iş eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda öğrenim görenin ise %91.2’sinin sanat eğitimini bir ihtiyaç olarak gördüğü gözlemlenmiştir.
