dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın amacı, ilkokul ve ortaokul öğretim programlarındaki barış, insan hakları ve demokrasi eğitimine ilişkin öğrenme çıktılarını belirleyerek UNESCO’nun barış, insan hakları ve demokrasi eğitimi hedefleri doğrultusunda değerlendirmektir. Bu amaçla araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden yönlendirilmiş içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, doküman incelemesi yöntemiyle ilkokul ve ortaokul dersleri öğretim programlarından elde edilmiştir. Seçmeli dersler, zorunlu ve seçmeli yabancı dil dersleri çalışmaya dâhil edilmemiştir. Öte yandan imam hatip ortaokullarında okutulan zorunlu dersler de çalışmanın kapsamına alınmıştır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada, 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde uygulamada olan 4’ü ilkokul, 8’i ortaokul, 7’si ilkokul ve ortaokul olmak üzere toplamda 19 dersin öğretim programı, uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda belirlenen anahtar sözcüklerle incelenmiş; anahtar sözcüklerin geçtiği tüm öğrenme çıktıları derslere ve sınıf düzeyine göre listelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda; ilkokul Matematik, Fen Bilimleri, Bilişim Teknolojileri ve Yazılım dersleri dışında, ilkokul ve ortaokul derslerinin öğretim programlarında barış, insan hakları ve demokrasi eğitimi ile ilgili öğrenme çıktılarının bulunduğu ancak bunların UNESCO’nun hedefleri bağlamında yeterlilik arz etmediği saptanmıştır
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to determine the learning outcomes of peace, human rights and democracy education in the primary and secondary school curriculum and to evaluate them in accordance with the peace, human rights and democracy education objectives of UNESCO. For that purpose, directed content analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in this research. Research data were obtained from the primary and secondary school curriculum through the document analysis method. Elective courses, compulsory and elective foreign language courses were not included in the study. On the other hand, compulsory courses taught in imam hatip secondary schools were also included in the study. In line with this, the curriculum of 19 courses in total, 4 primary school, 8 secondary school and 7 both primary and secondary school, which were in practice in the spring term of 2019-2020 academic year, was examined through the determinated keywords in accordance with the expert opinions. All the learning outcomes, where the keywords exist, have been listed according to the courses and the class levels. The results of this study indicated that the learning outcomes of peace, human rights and democracy education have existed in the curriculum of the primary and middle school courses except primary school Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Information Technologies and Software courses; however they don’t present any efficiency as part of the objectives of UNESCO.
