    Online Yaratıcı Drama Etkinliklerinin Spor Bilimleri Öğrencileri İletişim Kaygı Düzeylerine Etkisi

    Bu araştırmanın amacı Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri Fakültesinde 3. sınıfta okuyan ve etkili iletişim dersi alan öğrencilerin iletişim kaygı düzeylerine, çevrimiçi yaratıcı drama yönteminin etkisini araştırmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Spor Bilimleri Fakültesinde öğrenim gören öğrenciler içerisinde 10 tanesi kontrol grubu ve 10 tanesi de deney grubu olmak üzere toplam 20 öğrenci araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Kontrol grubunda bulunan 10 öğrenci sadece Etkili İletişim Becerileri dersi alırken, deney grubunda bulunan 10 öğrenciye ise Etkili İletişim Becerileri dersinin yanında yaratıcı drama etkinlikleri çevrimiçi yol ile uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada McCroskey (1982) tarafından geliştirilen ve McCroskey ve diğerleri (1985) tarafından tekrar geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması yapılan 4 boyut ve 24 maddeden oluşan İletişim Kaygısı Ölçeği (İKÖ-24) ön test ve son test olarak öğrenci grubuna uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada ön test – son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol grubuna başlangıçta iletişim kaygısı ölçeği ön test olarak uygulanmış, sekiz atölye olarak uygulanan yaratıcı drama etkinlikleri sonrasında da iletişim kaygısı ölçeği son test olarak uygulanarak arasındaki farkın istatistiki olarak anlamlı olup olmamasına bakılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda çevrimiçi yaratıcı drama etkinliklerinin spor bilimleri fakültesinde okuyan öğrencilerin genel iletişim kaygısı, toplantı iletişim kaygısı ve grup iletişim kaygısı deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir düzeyde fark bulunmuştur. Bireylerarası iletişim kaygılarında ise anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır.

    PEER RELATIONSHIPS SCALE IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS: VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY STUDY

    This study aimed to develop a valid and reliable scale to assess peer relationships (e.g., communication, cooperation, social interaction and conflict situations) among students in physical education and sports classes. The scale development process included a literature review, item pool generation, expert evaluation, pilot testing, and psychometric analyses. Data were collected from 430 students for the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and 391 students for the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). EFA results indicated that the scale has a two-factor structure, explaining 48.3% of the total variance. The scale consists of nine items, with two subdimensions: “cohesion” (5 items) and “conflict” (4 items). CFA results supported the construct validity of the scale, with acceptable model fit indices (χ²/df = 3.10, RMSEA = 0.073, CFI = 0.937, TLI = 0.913). Internal consistency analysis showed that Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.811 for the "cohesion" dimension and 0.793 for the "conflict" dimension. The findings demonstrate that the developed scale is a valid and reliable instrument for assessing peer relationships in physical education classes

    Physical Education and Sports Lesson in Distance Education: Content Analysis of Videos on Youtube

    In this study, it was aimed to examine how physical education and sports teachers taught lessons in the distance education process and which activities they included in the course content during the Covid 19 pandemic process. The videos published under the title of distance education physical education and sports lessons written in Turkish on YouTube were analyzed. The videos were analyzed using content analysis technique. Three themes were obtained as a result of the content analysis. These are the themes of "educational games", "practice" and "theoretical expression". As a result of the study, it was concluded that it was tried to meet the movement needs of students through videos uploaded to YouTube under the title of distance education physical education and sports lessons, what students should do to protect their health is supported by information within the framework of "health - sports" and it was tried to make the process fun through educational games during the period of staying at home. It is recommended to provide an in-service training course for teachers on how to handle physical education and sports lessons through distance education, especially in the Covid 19 pandemic process.

    The Impact of COVID-19 Process on Sustainability in Education: Work Alienation of Physical Education and Sports Teachers

    This study aimed to examine physical education teachers' perceptions of work alienation in Turkey according to different variables (including gender, marital status, school level, availability of a gym in the school, age, and years of service) during the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected sustainability in education on a global scale. The study employed the survey method and research data were collected from 442 volunteer physical education teachers working in different provinces of Turkey through the "Physical Education Teachers' Alienation to Work Scale". The results showed that physical education teachers had low levels of alienation in their work. The scale's subdimensions 'occupational isolation' and 'powerlessness' indicated higher levels of work alienation compared to other subdimensions. Among teachers who had completed their graduate education, the level of work alienation was higher in the subdimensions 'powerlessness' and 'occupational alienation'. Based on a comparison with prior research on sustainability in education, the COVID-19 pandemic could be said to have no significant impact on physical education teachers' levels of work alienation. The cause of work alienation among physical education teachers was structural issues rather than specific time-bound events such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

    The Role of Sports in School Belonging of Syrian Refugee Students in Turkey

    In this study, it is aimed to determine how being in school sports teams with Turkish students affects the sense of school belonging of Syrian students and to analyze the process before and after joining school sports teams. Explanatory sequential design, one of the mixed research methods, was used in the research. In the quantitative aspect of the study, a school belonging scale was applied to a total of 472 Syrian and Turkish students. In the qualitative dimension, interviews were conducted with 7 Syrian students in the school sports teams. Syrian students have a lower level of school belonging compared to Turkish students. When the school belonging levels of the Syrian students who are in the school sports team and the Syrian students who are not in the school sports teams are compared, it has been revealed that there is a significant difference in favor of the Syrian students who are in the school sports teams. Qualitative interviews were also found to support these findings. As a result of the research, it is shown that the participation of Syrian students in sports activities can prevent many psychosocial problems they experience in school. At the same time, it is seen that sports teams can contribute to Syrian students' forming a social circle of friends, socialization, accelerating the adaptation process, cooperation, complying with school rules, and increasing their level of satisfaction with the school
