Öğe A General Overview of Tourism Clusters(Filodiritto Publisher, 2017) Guzel, Tulay; Yalcinkaya, TarikHaving been one of most significant strategical tools around the world, clustering activites have increasingly been prominent in terms of regional tourism development. Tourism clusters differ from other industrial clusters. Whereas customers cannot observe the actors within the most industrial clusters that are suppliers, sellers, agencies, logistic firms, etc., which is not the case in tourism clusters: customers (tourists) are engaged in a number of actors until they consume tourism services and products. These study analyses how clusters are classified. A view about classification of clusters according to their success and their labelling criteria are presented. There is also information about certain tourism regions in cluster maps. This study seeks to reveal the characteristics of tourism clusters by studying certain tourism cluster examples. The study furtherly aims to form a general framework related to tourism clusters with the help of significant tourism clusters.Öğe Evaluation of Online Hotel Reviews in TripAdvisor: in Case of Assos Region(Filodiritto Publisher, 2017) Sigirtmac, Aytekin; Guzel, TulayIn this research, focused on TripAdvisor, one of the systems used in the field of tourism. Main objective; understanding the using of the TripAdvisor system to share in the market, and tourism business is a highlight. A literal survey on the subject was made and the results of the previous studies were examined and the content analysis work was carried out on the basis of the comments made for the enterprises registered in the Assos region in TripAdvisor. As a result of the study, it was concluded that analyzed 17 enterprises had 481 comments which as mentioned that Assos is expensive and the quality of the service is low. 481 Comments included; 388 positive, 93 negative comments. The positive comments mostly mentioned about natural environment like beautiful see, quite place.Öğe How the Manager Trust and Distributive Justice Can Affect the Employees' Job Embeddedness(Ege Univ, Fac Economics & Admin Sciences, 2016) Akgunduz, Yilmaz; Guzel, Tulay; Harman, SerhatThe aim of this study is to reveal the effect of manager trust and distributive justice on employees' job embeddedness. In this scope, Global Job Embeddedness Scale was adapted to Turkish language at first and then a questionnaire composing the scale of job embeddedness, manager trust and distributive justice was prepared. Major findings from the empirical study are (1) adapted version of Global Job Embeddedness Scale to Turkish language is reliable and valid, (2) although both manager trust and distributive justice have an effect on the employees' job embeddedness, it is understood, in the model that manager trust significantly outweigh the distributive justice with regard to influence on employees' job embeddedness.
