Türkiye ekonomisinin büyüme dinamikleri üzerine bir değerlendirme

In this paper, growth models starting with Harrod are studied within their historical developments, taking into considerstion the function of models. The main approach is that the growth models are a means of logical thinking and they are insufficient in explaining the economic facts. These models are apolitic approaches and being apolitic is a political choice. So that , Turkish economy is analysed in its political context with historical data. In conclusion, for countries like Turkey, growth models are useful vehicles in the theme of economic growth, but the growth is a conscious political choice based on the choices of the economic policy.
