    Investigation Landscape Elements of Kindergarten Gardens in Çanakkale City Center

    The preschool period is the period in which the individual has the richest experiences of life and the environment in which the individual lives affects the later life. Kindergartens that provide preschool education services enable children in cities to be in an environment similar to nature with the plant and structural materials in their gardens. In this study, structural and plant materials, which are landscape elements of private and public kindergarten gardens in Çanakkale city center, were examined. Plant and structural material data of kindergartens were collected and analyzed. It was observed that there were 43 plant species and 292 plants in plant materials, but their maintenance and number were insufficient; in structural materials, mostly wooden materials were preferred, and concrete or impermeable hard floor materials were generally used as m²
