Öğe Constraint Analysis for the Interaction of the Vector-Meson Octet with the Baryon Octet(Iop Publishing Ltd, 2014) Unal, Y.; Kucukarslan, A.; Scherer, S.We describe a constraint analysis for the interaction of the vector-meson octet with the baryon octet. Applying Dirac's Hamiltonian method, we verify that the standard interaction in terms of two independent SU(3) structures is consistent at the classical level. We argue how the requirement of self consistency with respect to perturbative renormalizability may lead to relations among the renormalized coupling constants of the system.Öğe Electric dipole moments of baryons with bottom quarks(Amer Physical Soc, 2022) Unal, Y.; Severt, D.; de Vries, J.; Hanhart, C.; Meissner, Ulf-GTriggered by experimental prospects to measure electromagnetic dipole moments of baryons containing a bottom quark, we calculate the CP-odd electric dipole moments (EDMs) of spin-1/2 single-bottom baryons. We consider CP-violating dimension-6 operators in the Standard Model effective field theory that involve bottom quarks and apply heavy-baryon chiral perturbation theory to compute the EDMs of several baryons. We discuss the expected size of the EDMs for beyond-the-Standard-Model physics appearing at the TeV scale.Öğe The radiative ?? ?0?0 ? decay(Springer, 2013) Kucukarslan, A.; Unal, Y.The f(2)(1270) tensor meson contribution to the phi -> pi(0) pi(0). decay is studied within the framework of a phenomenological approach. The higher resonance is combined with the process involving f(0) scalar meson intermediate state and chiral loop. Then, we estimate the coupling constant gfs. considering the effect of the phi-omega. mixing and a set of values of sigma meson parameters Ms and Ts. And also we investigate the effect of the coupling constant gfs. for the phi -> pi(0) pi(0) . decay considering different groups of the contributions. A comparison of our results with the ones existing in the literature is presented.
