    Analysis of Postgraduate Theses in the Department of Science Education between 2014-2019 at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University

    This paper presents a study that analyze the distribution of postgraduate theses in terms of thesis type, method, gender of the author and sample group by years carried out in the Department of Science Education at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University (COMU) between 2014-2019. A case study design was used in the study. The case study pattern is examined within the scope of qualitative research method. The sample group of the research consisted of master's and doctoral theses completed in the field of science education at COMU between 2014-2019. For this purpose, master's and doctoral theses published by the National Thesis Center were included in this study. Data were collected using the document analysis method. The results of the study showed that there were no doctoral dissertations completed in the field of science education between 2014-2019 at COMU. In addition, it was determined that the majority of the 26 master theses (14 master theses) were completed in 2019 and the number of female authors was higher in 2019 compared to other years
