Societies that have access to more superior knowledge and could utilize this knowledge aright via an effective political, economic and social organization surpassed others and achieved a higher level of welfare. The present study aimed to determine the correlation between knowledge economy performance indicators and selected macroeconomic variables. The data set compiled for 34 OECD countries was analyzed with canonical correlation analysis. The analyses demonstrated that there was a significant and strong relationship between the datasets.
