Determining the Views of Srudents of Faculty of Education on Human Anatomy and Physiology Courses

This study aims at determining level of understanding and views about problems of the students of Faculty of Education Preschool Teaching and Science Teaching towards Anatomy and Physiology courses. The scope of the research was constructed by 188 students who study at Faculty of Education, Dumlupınar University. For this research, in which general scanning method was used, when collecting the data, the questionnaire of “The Views of Students of Anatomy and Physiology Courses Form” that was developed by researcher was used. The collected questionnaire forms were studied and among them 188 questionnaires were evaluated in total, and frequency and percentage were calculated and charted. As a result of the analysis, for the students of the both departments the skeleton system was the best learned subject; whereas the circulation system was the worst one. Among the causes of not understanding of the subjects of Human Anatomy and Physiology, insufficient books and sources related to the courses, in teaching using not any other methods but direct speech, not pre-studied students at the courses, not a practical but a reciting teaching system are seen as the factors of it.
