The diversity of the disease's clinical characteristics causes diagnostic difficulty. In some cases the initial findings of CJD are psychiatric symptoms. Herein we present a male patient that was diagnosed as CJD after dementia, ataxia, and myoclonus developed rapidly after the onset of psychiatric symptoms.
