Öğe Hybrid structures: innovative governance, judicial and sociological approaches(Springer, 2015) Aliu, Armando; Parlak, Bekir; Aliu, DorianThe aim of this study is to examine the new trends in the hybridity research area and clarify the convergence of interests among state actors, private actors and civil society actors. Hybridity is perceived as a multidimensional phenomenon and new paradigm in various industries. The effective collaboration among public sector-private sector-civil society can be attained likelihood with taking into account regional governance and multilevel governance. Hybridity at global governance level covers decentration (supra: centralization and infra: decentralization; or politically/socioeconomically: quasi-decentralization and culturally: denationalization) which includes the nexus of voice (democratic participation) and entitlement (legal/social rights and duties). In this framework, this study explores state and non-state interactions at multiple levels and attempts to clarify how hybridization provides triple win solution for state actors, private actors and civil society actors related issues in realm of theory/praxis dichotomy. Through enhancing legitimacy and effectiveness of the activities and efforts of non-state actors in the framework of (quasi)indirect centralization process, states ensure reciprocal understanding. In this study, constructivism was followed as paradigmatic research method.Öğe Public Policy Influences on Academia in the European Union: A Snapshot of the Convergences Among HRM-Industrial Relations and CSR-Stakeholder Approach(Sage Publications Inc, 2017) Aliu, Dorian; Akatay, Ayten; Aliu, Armando; Eroglu, UmutThe aim of this research is to examine the public policy influences on academic investigations that contain a substantial convergence among human resource management-industrial relations and corporate social responsibility-stakeholder approach by means of using bibliometric and content analyses of relevant publications in the Scopus and ScienceDirect databases. Totally, 160 publications were subject to bibliometric, cluster, and summative content analyses. In this context, this study claims that public policy in the EU influences academic investigations and scholars. The investigation draws attention to the importance of active participation of different public institutions and key stakeholders (e.g., trade unions, works councils, academic associations) that prepare a basis for collaboration, solidarity, and communication for strengthening EU social model, social dialogue, collective bargaining, and the protection of social rights. The research findings illuminate the fact that European public policies have significant effects on shaping and encouraging investigations that are considered within the scope of IR-HRM and CSR-SA. One of the most crucial recommendations of this study is that the investigations which are out of this framework can be considered quite idealistic. Therefore, researchers may attempt to publish more scientific investigations in frame of IR-HRM and CSR-SA to enhance the comprehensiveness and depth of these two clusters.Öğe The Driving Force Effect of Standardisation and Accreditation in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Industry(Kastamonu Univ, 2019) Aliu, Armando; Cilginoglu, Hakki; Aliu, DorianAim of study: The purpose of this study is to examine the standardisation and accreditation processes of the corporations and suppliers operating in the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) industry.
