    A new bryophyte sub-association and a new association record for Turkish bryophyte vegetation

    In this study which investigated epiphytic bryophyte vegetation of Çifteköprü and Karagöl Nature Park, therelevés taken from tree trunks in different vegetation periods of 2018 were evaluated by classical Braun-Blanquet method.Brachythecietum populei is a new association record for Turkey, the Brachythecietum populei -hypnetosum filiformis wasdefined as new sub-association. The syntaxa, which were determined from the study area, were presented by ecologicaland floristic analysis.

    Altındere Vadisi (Maçka, Trabzon) Briyofit Florasına Epifitik Katkılar

    Bu çalışmada, Altındere Vadisinin (Maçka-Trabzon) epifitik briyofitleri ve ekolojik özellikleri araştırılmıştır. 2018-2020 yıllarının farklı vejetasyon dönemlerinde, alanın farklı lokalite ve habitatlarındaki (14 istasyon) çeşitli ağaç gövdeleri üzerinden alınan 466 epifitik briyofit örneğinin değerlendirilmesi sonucunda 27 familya ve 37 cinse ait toplam 55 takson (13 ciğerotu, 42 karayosunu) belirlenmiştir. Bu taksonlardan 36’sı alan için yenidir. Belirlenen bu yeni briyofit türleri ile alandaki toplam briyofit sayısı 115’e yükselmiştir. Taksonların hayat formu ve yaşam stratejisi analizleri de yapılmıştır. Hayat formlarından düz halı (Ms) ve Pürüzlü halı (Mr)’nın, yaşam stratejilerinden ise perennial kalıcıların baskın olduğu görülmüştür. Epifitik taksonlar tarafından en çok tercih edilen ağaç Alnus glutinosa olurken en az tercih edilen ağaç Castanea sativa olmuştur. Ayrıca, ekolojik özellikler açısından floristik listedeki taksonların çoğu; nemlilik açısından mezofitik, gölge tercihi açısından sciofit ve pH açısından subnötrofittir.

    Bingöl İli Merkez İlçesinin (Türkiye) Karayosunu Florası

    Bu çalışmada, Bingöl ili merkez ilçesinin karayosunu florası araştırılmıştır. 2019 yılının farklı vejetasyon dönemlerinde toplanan karayosunu örneklerinin teşhis edilmesi sonucunda, 9 familya ve 23 cinse ait toplam 48 takson belirlenmiştir. Tamamı Bingöl ili için yeni kayıt olan taksonların 4’ü aynı zamanda Henderson kareleme sistemine göre B9 karesi için de yeni kayıttır. Ayrıca taksonlar; hayat formları, ekolojik ve floristik özellikleri açısından analiz edilmiştir.

    Bryophytes records from maçka district (Trabzon Province-Turkey)

    As a result of bryological collecting trips in the Maçka District (Trabzon Province) in Turkey, a total number of 235 bryophytes belonging to 108 genera (17 liverworts and 91 mosses) were determined from 20 different localities.     Contributions to The Bryophyte Flora of Hayrat District (Trabzon - Turkey)

    As a result of bryological excursion carried out in the Hayrat district of Trabzon province, a total of 99bryophyte taxa, including 18 liverworts and 81 mosses, were determined from the samples collected from6 different localities. All of these taxa were reported for the first time from Hayrat district. Brachytheciumcapillaceum (F.Weber & D.Mohr) Giacom. was recorded as a new record for Trabzon province and thesecond record for A4 grid-square.

    Epiphytic Bryophyte Communities of Forests Dominated by Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertner in Altindere Valley National Park (Trabzon, Turkey)

    The epiphytic bryophyte communities of the Altindere Valley (Macka, Trabzon, Turkey) were studied. A total of 59 releves, taken from living tree trunks in different vegetation periods of 2018 and 2020, were analysed according to the Braun-Blanquet methodology, and the releves were also ordinated and classified using the Detrended Correspondence Analysis (DECORANA) and the Two-Way Indicator Species Analysis (TWINSPAN). As a result of the analyses, Alleniella besseri-Leucodontetum immersi as. nov., Plagiomnio undulati-Raduletum lindbergianae typicum and P.-R. leucodontetosum sciuroidis subas. nov. (Neckerion complanatae) were described and characterised as a new epiphytic. Mnietum cuspidati, Homalothecio sericei-Neckeretum besseri and Brachythecietum populei-isothecietosum alopecuroidis were also described as new to Turkey, whereas Brachythecietum populei typicum was recorded for the second time in Turkey.

    Epiphytic bryophyte vegetation of Fagus orientalis trees in Hıdırnebi Plateau (Trabzon, Turkey)

    In this study, the epiphytic bryophyte vegetation of Fagus orientalis forests in Hıdırnebi Plateau (Trabzon, Turkey) was investigated. A total of 34 relevés taken from living tree trunks in the different vegetation periods of 2020 were analysed according to the Braun-Blanquet methodology. As a result of the analyses, the Leskeello nervosae–Pterigynandretum filiformis, Leskeello nervosae–Pterigynandretum filiformis lewinskyetosum rupestris subass. nov., Pseudoleskeello nervosae–Raduletum lindbergianae ass. nov. and Pseudoleskeello nervosae–Raduletum lindbergianae isothecietosum alopecuroidis subass. nov. were described and characterised as a new epiphytic syntaxa. The Leskeello nervosae–Pterigynandretum filiformis is also new to Turkey.     Pohlia Hedw. and Oleolophozia L.Soderstr., De Roo & Hedd. species new to Turkey and South-West Asia

    Pohlia lescuriana (Sull.) Ochi and Oleolophozia perssonii (H.Buch & S.W.Arnell) L.Söderstr., De Roo & Hedd. have been identified as new to Turkey and South-West Asia, following a recent bryological excursion in Giresun province of Turkey. The genus Oleolophozia L.Söderstr., De Roo & Hedd. is also new to Turkey. In this paper, brief descriptions, illustrations, information about geographic distribution, ecology and comparisons with morphologically similar taxa are given. A key to Pohlia Hedw. taxa in Turkey is added.

    The Bryophyte Flora of Kümbet High Plateau (Dereli district, Turkey)

    As a result of bryological researches in the Kümbet High Plateau of Giresun province (Turkey), a total of 289\rbryophyte taxa belonging to 131 genera and 64 families, of which are 50 liverworts and 239 mosses, were\rdetermined from 40 different localities. Among them, Neckera pumila and Pseudephemerum nitidum new to A4\rgrid square and all bryophyte taxa are new for Kümbet high plateau. Collected localities and substrata are presented\rat bryofloristic list.

    The moss flora of Pertek (Tunceli /Turkey) district

    In this study, tha moss flora of Pertek district in Tunceli province was investigated. Results of the identificationof moss specimens collected in different vegetation periods the year of 2018, total 46 taxa belonging to 9 families and 23genera were determined. 5 of the all these taxa which are new records for Tunceli are new to B9 square according to thegrid-square system of Henderson. Also, life forms, ecological and floristic characteristics belong to taxa have beenanalysed.

    TÜRKİYE’DEKİ Orthotricho straminei-Pterigynandretum filiformis BİRLİĞİNİN BÖLGELERE GÖRE FLORİSTİK VE EKOLOJİK ÖZELLİKLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

    Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin iki farklı bölgesinden (Marmara ve Karadeniz) tespit edilmiş olan Orthotricho straminei-Pterigynandretum filiformis birliğinin bölgelere göre floristik ve ekolojik özellikleri bakımından karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Bu bölgelerdeki farklı habitatlarda yayılış gösteren farklı ağaç türlerinin gövdeleri üzerinden alınan örneklik alanların Braun- Blanquet metodu ile değerlendirilmesi sonucunda tespit edilmiş olan Orthotricho straminei-Pterigynandretum filiformis birliğinin floristik kompozisyonu ve birliğe ait taksonların nem isteği, ışık isteği, asidite, ağaç tercihi ve habitat eğilimleri gibi ekolojik karakteristikleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda birliğin floristik kompozisyonunun, yayılış gösterdiği bölge ve habitatlara bağlı olarak değişim gösterdiği, birliğe ait taksonların ekolojik isteklerinin nem ve ağaç tercihi gibi epifitik habitatın özelliklerine göre de farklılıklar gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir

    Türkiye’deki Pylaisietum polyanthae Felf. 1941 Üzerine Bir Not

    Çifteköprü ve Karagöl Tabiat Parkı (Borçka-Atvin)’nın epifitik briyofit vejetasyonunun araştırıldığı buçalışmada, 2018 yılının farklı vejetasyon dönemlerinde, ağaç gövdelerinden alınan örneklik alanların,klasik Braun-Blanquet metodu ile değerlendirilmesi sonucunda; Pylaisietum polyanthae sintaksonuTürkiye’den ikinci kez belirlenmiştir. Tanımlanan bu sintakson, ekolojik ve floristik açıdan analizedilerek sunulmuştur.
