Protestan reformuna hümanizm aşısı: Johannes Brenz & Güney Almanya reformasyonu

Abstract

Bu çalışma Hıristiyanlığın Avrupa sahnesinde yeni bir norm ve yeni bir form ile ortaya çıktığı Reformasyonun Avrupa ve dünya tarihinde neye karşılık geldiğinin anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamakla birlikte, reformatör Johannes Brenz'in Luther reformunun yeniden inşasındaki etkisini ve rolünü ortaya koyma iddiasındadır. Bu niyet ve amaçla ortaya konan çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır: Birinci bölümde, çalışmanın konusu, önemi ve amacının yanında; çalışmanın kavramsal çerçevesi, metodolojisi kapsam ve sınırlılıklarıyla kaynakça analizi yer almaktadır. İkinci bölümde, Reform öncesi Avrupa'nın genel bir panoraması çizilmeye çalışılarak Reformasyonun arka planına güçlü bir ışık tutma denemesi yapılmıştır. Ardından Orta Çağ Katolik Kilisesinin Avrupa topraklarındaki "baskıcı" uygulamaları ve bu uygulamalara karşı filizlenmeye başlayan Reformun öncülleri niteliğindeki çeşitli kişi ve hareketlerin dünyası irdelenmektedir. Üçüncü bölümde, Reform hareketinin Avrupa'da ortaya çıkmasını sağlayan olaylar zinciri, Avrupa'ya yayılmasındaki öncü reformatörler ve bu kişilerin Avrupa'daki faaliyetleri ele alınarak 16. yüzyıl Avrupa coğrafyasındaki Reform haritası çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde, Luther'in sıkı bir takipçisi olduğu kadar Luther reformunu hümaniter şekilde yeniden inşa eden Brenz'in reform dünyasına girilmiştir. This study, besides contributing to the understanding of what the Reformation, in which Christianity emerged with a new norm and a new form on the European stage, corresponds to in European and world history; It claims to reveal the influence and role of Johannes Brenz'in the reconstruction of the Lutheran reform. The study, which was put forward with this intention and aim, consists of five parts: In the first chapter, besides the subject, importance and purpose of the study; The conceptual framework, methodology, scope and limitations of the study as well as bibliography analysis are included. In the second chapter, a general panorama of Europe before the Reformation was tried to be drawn and a strong light was tried to be shed on the background of the Reformation. Then the "oppressive" practices of the Medieval Catholic Church in European lands; The world of various people and movements, which are the pioneers of the reform that started to sprout against these practices, are examined. In the third chapter, the chain of events that led to the emergence of the Reform movement in Europe, the pioneer reformers in its spread to Europe and the activities of these people in Europe were examined and the Reform map in the 16th century European geography was tried to be drawn. In the fourth chapter, Brenz's reform world is introduced, who, in addition to being a devoted follower of Luther, reconstructed the Lutheran reform in a humanitarian way. This was accomplished primarily by dealing with Brenz's intellectual biography, his works, and his relationship with various reformers and intellectuals. In the fifth chapter, the theological and political fundemental principles of the reform, its sacraments and his views on the internal and external others of his period and the meanings he attributed to them draw us into Brenz's world of reform. It is seen that Brenz, as a Lutheran apprentice, created his own understanding of reform over the course of time without diverging from his main axis. It is possible to understand his success at this point as a humanist reconstruction of the reform. Although Brenz's sphere of influence is much wider, it can be said that he implemented this humanist reform approach prominently in Schwäbisch Hall and Württemberg. A crucial influence of Brenz, beyond his era and time is the Württemberg Church Order, which the Württemberg church created during the reformation / transformation process. This success brought him the title of "one of the best church organizers" in the Protestant world.
