Mükemmeliyetçilik ve duyguların işe gömülmüşlük ve psikolojik sağlık problemleri üzerindeki etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırma mükemmeliyetçilik, duygular, işe gömülmüşlük ve psikolojik sağlık problemleri arasındaki ilişkileri incelemektedir. Araştırmanın amacı çerçevesinde ilgili literatür taranarak değişkenler arasındaki ilişkileri gösteren bir model geliştirilmiş ve modeli test etmek amacıyla Tekirdağ/İstanbul il sınırları içerisinde tekstil sektöründe görev yapan 312 işgörenden anket tekniği ile veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler ile faktör analizi, korelasyon analizi, regresyon analizi ve anova testi yapılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre mükemmeliyetçi kişilik özelliği tekstil sektörü çalışanlarının işe gömülmüşlüğünü (uyum ve fedakarlık) anlamlı olarak etkilemektedir. Aynı zamanda mükemmeliyetçiliğin boyutuyla, psikolojik sağlık problemlerinin boyutlarından olan endişeyi anlamlı olarak etkilemektedir. Bununla birlikte duyguların psikolojik sağlık problemlerinden yalnızca depresyonu ve işe gömülmüşlüğün boyutu olan fedakarlığı etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları kapsamında tekstil sektörü çalışanlarının mükemmeliyetçilik ve duygularının işe gömülmüşlük ve psikolojik sağlık problemleri üzerinde etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir.

This research examines the relationships between perfectionism, emotions, job embeddedness, and psychological health problems. Within the framework of the purpose of the research, a model was developed showing the relationships between the variables by scanning the relevant literature, and data were collected from 312 employees working in the textile industry within the provincial borders of Tekirdağ/Istanbul with the survey technique in order to test the model. Factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and anova test were performed with the obtained data. According to the research findings, the perfectionist personality trait significantly affects the work embeddedness (adaptation and self-sacrifice) of the textile industry employees. At the same time, the dimension of perfectionism significantly affects the anxiety, which is one of the dimensions of psychological health problems. However, it has been determined that emotions affect only depression and self-sacrifice, which is the dimension of work embeddedness, among psychological health problems. Within the scope of the research results, it has been determined that the perfectionism and emotions of the textile sector employees have an effect on job embeddedness and psychological health problems.
