Samim Kocagöz'ün romanlarında söz varlığı

Abstract

Samim Kocagöz 1916-1993 yılları arasında yaşamış Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk Edebiyatı'nın önemli yazarlarından birisidir. Toplumcu gerçekçi yazarlar arasında daha çok tarihî dönemleri konu alan eserleri ile tanınan yazarın bu konu çerçevesinde on iki adet romanı bulunmaktadır. Alanında kendini kanıtlamış olan yazar ve şairlerin eserleri; yazıldıkları dönemin dil, kültür ve sosyal yapısını yansıtan önemli belgelerdir. Bu düşünceyle, çalışmada Samim Kocagöz'ün romanları söz varlığı açısından incelenmiştir. Yazarın dilinde Türkçenin söz varlığını oluşturan deyim, atasözü, ikileme, kalıp söz, argo, yerel ağıza ilişkin söz ve terimleri hangi sıklıkla kullandığı tarama yöntemiyle saptanmıştır. Beş bölümden oluşan çalışmanın birinci bölümü giriştir. Giriş bölümünde; tez çalışmasında ele alınan konunun ne olduğuna, amacına, önemine değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde; Samim Kocagöz'ün hayatı, edebî kişiliği, eserleri ve özellikle romanları hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; dil, sözcük ve söz varlığı kavramları açıklanmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde; on iki adet romanda saptanan söz varlığı ögelerinin sınıflandırılmasına tanık gösterilerek yer verilmiştir. Beşinci ve son bölümde ise bu söz varlığı ögelerinin sayısal verileri tablolarıyla birlikte verilerek yazarın bunları ne sıklıkla kullandığı belirtilmiş, ulaşılan sonuçlar hakkında bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır.

Samim Kocagoz is one of the important writers of Turkish Literature of the Republican Period who lived between 1916 and 1993. Among the realist writers, the author, who is mostly known for his works on historical periods, has twelve novels within the framework of this topic. The works of writers and poets who have proven themselves in their field are important documents reflecting the language, culture and social structure of the period in which they were written. With this in mind, the novels of Samim Kocagoz were examined in terms of vocabulary in the study. The idioms, proverbs, reduplications, slogans, slang, local words and terms that make up the lexical presence of Turkish in the author's language have been determined by the method of scanning, which he often uses. The first part of the study, which consists of five parts, is the introduction. In the introduction section, it is mentioned what the topic discussed in the thesis work is, its purpose, importance. In the second part; Information about the life, literal personality, works and especially novels of Samim Kocagoz are given. In the third chapter, the concepts of language, word and verbal existence are explained. In the fourth chapter, the classification of the elements of the existence of words found in twelve novels is given by showing the witness. In the fifth and last section, the numerical data of these dictionary items are provided along with their tables, indicating how often the author uses them, and an assessment is made of the results achieved.
