Endüstri 4.0 uygulamalarının tedarik zinciri ve işletme performansı üzerine değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Tarihte, 18.yy'ın sonlarında başlayan ilk sanayi devriminin başlangıcıyla gelişen bu süreçte müşteri taleplerinin değişmesi, rekabetin artması ve teknolojinin gelişmesiyle yeni sanayi devrimleri ortaya çıkmıştır. İlk olarak 2011 yılında Almanya'da adını duyuran Endüstri 4.0 yani dördüncü sanayi devrimi süreci gün geçtikçe adından daha fazla söz ettirmeye başlamıştır. Pek çok ülke ve sektör için yeni bir dönemi ifade eden Endüstri 4.0, gelişen teknolojiye entegre sistemleri kapsayarak daha sürdürülebilir, hata payının düşük olduğu ve maliyeti azaltmaya yönelik süreçleri beraberinde getirmektedir. Tez araştırması kapsamında Endüstri 4.0 uygulamalarının tedarik zinciri ve işletme performansı üzerine değerlendirilmesini vurgulamak amaçlanmaktadır. Endüstri 4.0 uygulamalarının tedarik zinciri süreçlerine ve bu bağlamda işletme performansına ne kadar etki ettiğini, işletmelerin Endüstri 4.0 doğrultusunda kullandığı sistemlerden aldığı verimi ölçmek ve verilerle ortaya çıkarmak araştırmanın temel amacıdır. Çalışma nitel olmakla birlikte İstanbul ilinde faaliyet gösteren sanayi işletmeleri, lojistik firmaları ve fabrikalarda gerçekleştirilen mülakatlar ile Endüstri 4.0'ın tedarik zinciri ve işletme performansı üzerine değerlendirilmesi açıklanmıştır. Böylece sistemlerini Endüstri 4.0'a entegre etmek isteyen işletmelere süreç ve sonuçlar hakkında fikirler vermek amaçlanmıştır

In this process, which developed with the beginning of the first industrial revolution, which began at the end of the eighteenth century, new industrial revolutions emerged with the change of customer demands, the increase of competition and the development of technology. Industry 4.0, which first announced its name in Germany in 2011 so the Fourth Industrial Revolution process, has started to mention its name more and more every day. Industry 4.0, which represents a new era for many countries and sectors, provides a lower margin of error, less cost and a more sustainable process. As a result of this thesis research, it is aimed to highlight the evaluation of Industry 4.0 applies on supply chain and business performance. The main aim of the research is to measure the efficiency of the systems used by enterprises in line with Industry 4.0 and to reveal the extent to which Industry 4.0 applications affect supply chain processes and business performance in this context. Although the study is qualitative, interviews conducted in industrial enterprises, logistics companies and factories operating in Istanbul province explain the impact of Industry 4.0 on supply chain and business performance. In this way, it is aimed to give ideas about processes and results to businesses that want to integrate their systems into Industry 4.0.
