İnşaat sektöründe iş kazalarının genel sebepleri ve önlenmesine yönelik bir çalışma: Çanakkale ili örneği

Abstract

İnşaat sektörü, içinde barındırdığı kendine özgü çalışma şartları dolayısıyla ülkemizde ve dünyada iş kazalarının, iş kazalarına bağlı sakatlıkların ve ölümlerin yüksek oranda karşılaşıldığı bir sektördür. Kaza sayılarındaki yüksek oranlar iş güvenliği açısından inşaat sektörünü incelemeyi zorunlu hale getirmiştir. Bu tez çalışmasında inşaat sektöründe meydana gelen iş kazalarını ve iş kazalarının nedenlerini tespit etmek ve en çok iş kazası yaşanan sektörlerden biri olan inşaat sektöründe alınabilecek tedbirlere yönelik öneriler getirmek amaçlanmıştır. Tarama (survey) yöntemi ile yürütülen bu çalışmada veriler anket aracılığı ile toplanmıştır. Anketler Çanakkale il merkezinde yapım aşamasındaki şantiyelerde çalışan 250 kişiye yüz yüze uygulanmıştır. Anket çalışması sonucu ulaşılan veriler, SPSS paket programı yardımı ile analiz edilerek değerlendirilmiştir. Verilere, sıklık analizleri, çapraz tablolar, t testi, ANOVA testi uygulanmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar, tablolar ve grafikler aracılığıyla sunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucuna göre en çok karşılaşılan iş kazası uzuv kaptırma, sıkıştırma ikinci sırada ise yüksekten düşme olmuştur, kazalarının başlıca nedenlerinde ilk sırada dikkat eksikliği, ikinci sırada tedbirsiz davranışlar, üçüncü sırada ise tecrübe eksikliği olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Mesai bitiminin sonlarına doğru olan zaman diliminde ağır yaralanma ve sakat kalma ile sonuçlanan kazalarda bariz sayıda fazlalıklar olduğu dikkat çekmiştir. Çalışma örnekleminde az sayıda karşılaşılmasına rağmen göçük altında kalma tipindeki kaza türünde ölüm oranının en fazla olduğu, ikinci sırada ise yüksekten düşme tipindeki kazalar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. İş güvenliği eğitimlerinin, çalışanlarda iş güvenliği bilincini artırdığı ve kazaları azaltmada etkili olduğu, inşaat sektöründeki zor çalışma koşullarına rağmen kanunların ve bilimin ışığında gerekli tedbirler alınarak, kazaların en aza indirilebileceği belirlenmiştir.

The construction sector is a sector in which work accidents, injuries and deaths due to work accidents are encountered at a high rate in our country and around the world due to the unique working conditions it contains. The high rates in the number of accidents have made it mandatory to examine the construction sector in terms of occupational safety. In this thesis study, it is aimed to determine the occupational accidents occurring in the construction sector and the causes of occupational accidents and to provide suggestions for the measures that can be taken in the construction sector, which is one of the sectors with the most occupational accidents. In this study conducted by the screening (survey) method, the data were collected by means of a questionnaire. The surveys were applied face to face to 250 people working on construction sites under construction in the city center of Çanakkale. The data obtained as a result of the survey study were analyzed and evaluated with the help of the SPSS package program. Frequency analyses, cross tables, t-test, ANOVA test were applied to the data and the results obtained were finalized through tables and graphs. According to the results of the research, the most common work accident was limb loss, compression was second, while falling from a height, it was found that the main causes of accidents were lack of attention in the first place, imprudent behavior in the second place, and lack of experience in the third place. It has been noted that there are an obvious number of redundancies in accidents that result in serious injury and disability during the time period towards the end of the overtime period. Although a small number of accidents were encountered in the study sample, it was found that the death rate was highest in the type of accident of the type of being under a dent, and in the second place there were accidents of the type of falling from a height. It has been concluded that occupational safety trainings increase the occupational safety awareness of employees and are effective in reducing accidents. Despite the difficult working conditions in the construction sector, it has been determined that accidents can be minimized by taking the necessary measures in the light of laws and science.
