Their effectiveness was examined under six dimensions: contextual dimension, educational dimension, interpersonal dimension, analytical dimension, political dimension and strategic dimension. The existing roles and expected roles of board of trustees were compared to find their effectiveness. A descriptive method was used to collect data. The survey was applied to the population and interview was applied to selected board members.
