Modern children are motivated to actively participate in the learning process when using information and communication technologies. According to studies, playing games improves children's concentration, visual memory, analytical thinking, and algorithmic thinking and coding skills. The purpose of the presented study is to develop a mobile game application My Memory designed to assist students in memorizing English lexical items, through interaction with a programmable device. The mobile app was developed using Unity IDE and Botley (R) robot under experimental design conditions. Incorporating the developed app will improve algorithmic thinking, linguistic and cognitive development at an early stage of education.
