These services are the best indicator which school is just not a place that provides students' academic development. To provide consulting services is very important for the student's self-realization, become aware of the latent forces and establish healthy relationships with other people as a social entity. Turkey is influenced by USA to create a system of guidance and psychological counselling. The staff who carries out this work in public school, is called as Guidance Teacher. There are some problems, which are qualitative and quantitative deficiencies, about regarding the execution of works by Guidance Teachers. In this study, the findings, found by using litterateur scanning method, are reviewed. Especially qualitative deficiencies are addressed on the basis of guidance teachers.
